About Me

Hi I am Danielle, a dual qualified Midwife and Nurse, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Tongue-Tie Practitioner. My Career has taken me far and wide across the UK, I’ve worked in Liverpool, Manchester and London. I wear a few hats but the knowledge gained from each role, has fed into the other, to help create Feed Flow Glow. As an IBCLC I work remotely all over the northwest offering at home and online lactation support and my private Tongue-Tie services are in the process of being set-up but I will soon be providing at home Ankyloglossia (Tongue-Tie) assessments and separations.

At the beginning of my career I trained as an adult nurse, I then specialised in neonatal nursing and went on to qualify as a Midwife. I have worked in all areas of Midwifery; on the antenatal ward, birth centre, delivery suite, postnatal ward, community, continuity team and supporting with homebirths. Supporting women and families gives me a great sense of job satisfaction. I also helped to run a specialist breastfeeding clinic in Shoreditch and supported/continue to support in NHS Tongue-Tie clinics as part of my current role.

Since gaining my first degree in 2016 my passion has been infant feeding and long-term goal was to set up a business offering personalised and accessible lactation services. Both in my current NHS role and private practice I am constantly reminded about the sacredness of motherhood and how much intuition is cultivated in this time. I feel strongly that mothers everywhere should be supported to listen to their intuition alongside being provided with evidence based information and support. Feed Flow Glow has been long in the making but I am so grateful and excited to share my knowledge with you. My vision was accelerated into being when I put forward a business proposal for Santander’s Seed Fund. I was awarded one of the 2024 prizes and honoured with the award of special category winner for social impact.
